How to diff documents with Simul
Simul makes it easy to diff Microsoft Word documents. Here's how it works:
1. Upload the original document
Upload the original document from your computer or from cloud storage services like Sharepoint, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box or Google Drive.
2. Upload the comparison document
Upload the comparison document to Simul by selecting 'Import New Version' and then selecting the comparison document from your computer or cloud storage provider. This will create a new version of the document in Simul.
3. Review the differences
Simul will then show you what changed between the original version and the comparison version of the document.
4. Merge the two documents (optional)
If desired, you can then merge the two documents using Simul's merge functionality each authors changes are marked up as tracked changes in Word, allowing you to easily identify the differences, fix conflicts, and keep moving forward.
