We’re looking for a Technology Attorney to be responsible for critical legal aspects of [insert company name] commercial technology transactions. You will work on challenging and exciting legal issues in an increasingly complex and dynamic range of global relationships and regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, such as purchase and joint development agreements, master services agreements software and IP licensing matters, supplier component sourcing and vendor agreements, collaboration agreements, and other commercial transactional agreements
• Respond promptly to legal requests from engineering, sourcing, business development, finance, and other teams, summarizing and communicating legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Advise business and cross-functional stakeholders on day-to-day and strategic commercial transactions that may include product liability, intellectual property rights, warranty terms, indemnification as well as key company policies and procedures
• Support the continuous improvement of the company’s legal transactions processes by identifying and implementing improvements in tools and operations

About you

• [insert number] years of outbound technology transactions experience
• Cloud/SaaS and enterprise software transactions experience
• In-house experience at a technology company
• Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate clearly with business teams, and make deals across the finish line
• Ability to think and draft beyond templates and playbooks as necessary
• AdTech experience a plus
• Active membership and good standing with the California Bar (with the exception of privacy roles and other compliance projects, we do not place lawyers who are Registered as In-House Counsel)
